We had a lovely, quiet one-night stay by Lake Varese. The spacious, clean room was perfect for our needs. The reception staff were friendly, accommodating our late check-in and dinner. Despite a slight hiccup with the restaurant staff, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Being the only hotel in the area meant we enjoyed peaceful evenings by the lake. Easy bus access to Varese city center was a bonus. A great choice for a quiet, comfortable stay.

We had a fantastic time at Hotel Vecchia Riva! The location was perfect, with easy access to the bike path and stunning views of the lake from our room. The breakfast was incredible, with a wide range of gluten-free options available. The hotel itself was modern and comfortable, and the courtyard patio was a delightful spot. We only wish we could have seen the lake from our room.

The hotel was clean and the restaurant had excellent food, especially the fish options. The breakfast had a good variety and catered well to food allergies. The location was ideal for cycling with a bike path around the lake. It was also quieter and less touristy compared to other Italian lakes.
